STUDIO INTERN

We are looking for an intern to join our team and learn the ropes of producing large scale events and managing a studio. The intern hired for this position should expect to be involved in all aspects of our day-to-day operations.

The benefits to the intern include working with a great team of art enthusiasts who care deeply about producing quality work, and learning the ins and outs of running and working in a studio environment. In return the intern should bring essential skills to this position: excellent communication skills, attention to detail, the ability to work independently on important projects, and most importantly, a strong interest in the arts and events fields.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist in events, brand activations, programming and artist collaborations.

  • Support the team with ad-hoc tasks, especially on event days. This includes running the door, selling merchandise, and ushering.

  • Assist the Producer in liaising for artists and/or clients during special events and company projects.

  • Ensure studio is always presentable.

  • Help with maintaining an accurate inventory of merchandise stock. This includes taking monthly inventory of all products and reporting numbers back to E-commerce Manager.

  • Help keep inventory and maintain operational efficiency of stockroom, artist supplies and in-house production equipment.

  • Coordinate the ordering of necessary studio supplies with Studio Manager.

  • Help fulfill e-commerce orders and proactively ensure timely deliveries of all customer and merchandise seeding.

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • Have own transport and laptop.

  • General tech savviness.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • A clear sense of what it means for a job to be completed and well done.

  • Protect company’s privacy and confidentiality. Will have to sign a Non-Disclosure agreement.

  • Must be PROACTIVE and take INITIATIVE but also follow direction and take feedback from the team.

  • Needs to be able to perform independently with minimal supervision.

  • Strong creative and analytical skills

PERSONAL ASSISTANT
(Part-time)

We’re seeking a person who will become direct support for a very busy CEO to ensure his activities, appointments and personal needs run smoothly. This position will function as the first point of contact from both inside and outside the studio office.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage incoming e-mail and mail, which includes responding when appropriate.

  • Maintain CEO’s schedule, e.g., scheduling meetings, managing calendars.

  • Plan all domestic and international travel and accommodation arrangements.

  • Handle occasional personal needs or errands.

  • Take notes during meetings.

  • Light book keeping like tracking and reconciling receipts, and creating estimates and invoices.

  • Prioritize work activity with little supervision and provide after-hour and flexible support.

  • Dedicate themselves to working in a support role.

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • Have own transport and laptop.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and general tech savviness.

  • Minimum 2 years experience in similar role.

  • Can-do attitude—someone who can be relied upon for answers.

  • A great memory and superior attention to detail.
